The UK government plans to lift all international travel restrictions starting from February 11 for fully vaccinated people. Instead of pre-arrival and post-arrival testing, self-isolation, and lateral flow test, all that travelers need to do is verify their status via a passenger locator form.
The move comes with the plan of easing restrictions and enhancing stability for incoming passengers as well as the UK’s travel industry.
For travelers that are not fully vaccinated, no self-isolation and covid testing 8 days after their arrival in the UK will be required. They would still be required to prove their covid negative status by filling out the passenger locator form. Additionally, unvaccinated passengers will have to take a post-arrival PCR test.
